Bah, the Telegraph.

Any paper that uses Harry Potter quotes as a means to back up an argument is just plain silly.

In other news, the baby dragon has just been stolen by the Bat Boy, who was returning from his war efforts in Iraq (cut short when he saw a vision of the virgin Mary)!!!

And here I thought you were talking about a comic I know, which i think quit btw. But that looks pretty cool, even if it is a fake. I wonder how much something like that would cost. If I know anything of movie props I'd have to say much more than its actually worth. :P

Probably not. He also fails to realize that the text 'Here be dragons' has existed before webcomics had, in anyone's wildest dreams, ever been conceived.

In summary, I stab you in the face-related portions.

Re: Here be dragons.
Yes I did read it, and the comic is called Here There be Dragons, at least the forums were. But the resemblance made me think you somehow heard of this small comic. The article was about some fake dragon in a jar some guy found in his garage that they skepticize was used as some sort of hoax or something. I just skimmed through it though when I learnt it wasn't about the comic.

Re: Here be dragons.
That, my friends, is a sad sad thing; that this man, when presented with a story about a decades-old dragon in a jar, decided it was not worth his time when he found that it was not about a comic strip.

Thanks for playing, here's our lovely consolation prize. Tell him what he's won, Johnny!

Oh, probably something about Turtle Wax, I guess.

You do know it's not real though right? At least I don't think it is anyway, like BW said it's 'some' craftsmanship. That's why I was wondering how much a copy of something like that would cost. I would probably just sit it on a shelf somewhere and eventually forget about it anyway.

Poor guy... Pervy must be having altimers. I'll have to write him a note and stick it to his sleeve or something. :P

Wait a second. Silly Germans, umbilical cords are for mammals. Honestly, haven't these people read Anne McCaffrey's work? They get an F in anatomy. For homework they must now write a 1000 word essay on why it's perfectly reasonable for the German scientific community to time travel forward 100 years from 1890 to read Anne McCaffrey's books.

Yes there are reptiles that are eaten other than snake. Turtle and alligator are probably the most common, but as Priam has said, I doubt there's an animal on Earth that someone hasn't tried to eat at one point or another.

Contrary to popular belief, lazer crabs are not, in fact, reptiles :(

However, I hear that if you can manage to get through their defenses, lazer-crabmeat is quite tasty. I'd much rather have one as a pet than as a meal, though.
